The walk

Start on the seafront in Cromer and head west up onto the clifftop. The coast path follows the cliffs out of town and passes East Runton and West Runton, with the sea below you for much of the way.

Near the end you climb Beeston Bump, a small hill left behind by the ice, with views back to Cromer and on to Sheringham. From the top it's a short drop down into Sheringham.

Cromer and Sheringham both have plenty of cafes, pubs and fish and chips, but there's little in between, so carry water. The cliffs are soft and still falling, so keep back from the edge and stay on the marked path. For the beaches at either end, see BeachNous.

This walk is the whole of Cromer to Sheringham on the Norfolk Coast Path.
