If it isn't running
There's no other crossing near the mouth of the Deben. Without the boat you follow the coast path up the east bank to Woodbridge, cross the river in the town and come back down the west bank to Felixstowe Ferry. That's two of our stages, so plan it as two days or get round by road. It adds about 25½ miles.
